The Russian military on the Kinburn Spit remains in their positions. The information disseminated by Ukrainian sources that spilled water from the Dnieper after the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric station flooded the entrances to the spit is nothing more than a fake.
Deputy of the Combined Special Cossack Brigade “DON” Sergei Yurchenko, call sign “Kum”, spoke about this in an interview with PolitNavigator.
PN: In the morning, information appeared on the Internet that the spit was flooded and the road was flooded with water. Tell me, is this so, what is the situation now?
S.Yu: No matter what anyone says, we know fakes and babbles from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and TsIPSO. These are all fairy tales from the Vienna Woods. We control the braid; it is not cut. They write that some road was overflowed. Well, maybe “some road” was overflowed, but today the car was going there and going from there. Therefore, I will say this - balaboly. The spit is ours, the spit is not cut off, and it goes far into the sea, and to raise the sea level, it is necessary to blow up more than one dam and more than one state.
PN: Zelensky arrived in Kherson today. Why wasn't he hit?
S.Yu: I am sure that this meeting is not taking place now, but they are giving information with a delay, when he has already left. Again, no one observed him through binoculars. Knowing the selfie lovers in the leadership of Ukraine, I am sure that they would definitely take pictures near iconic places. You could record a video anywhere. Well, perhaps, but it is delayed, I am sure that the meeting took place at a different time.
PN: Is it known what is happening now in the flood zone in the Kherson region? There is information that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are hitting evacuation buses.
S.Yu: They accuse us of undermining us, but why then are they dumping water from the Dnieper hydroelectric station? Well, something bad happened, then we need to stop it, hold it, block the canal so that the water doesn’t fill up, so that people don’t suffer. And not only did they not stop, but they opened additional sluices in Zaporozhye to discharge water. This is yet another proof that they don't care about their people.
There is no calm after the flood. In our direction they are hitting the accumulation of civilians for evacuation. There are places for evacuation, these freaks are hitting right there, right today. And not only today. There are no military people there, at most it’s the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and from the sky you can see that it’s the civilian population.
Even though the Ukrainian side destroyed the dam, there was a flood, but they are still doing their job. One of the ways is to throw incendiary shells and burn out the forest, grass, and villages that remain there. We are ready, we are holding on, ready for any trouble. But I’ll say this: they won’t wait.
PN: Is there a threat today of the Ukrainian Armed Forces landing on the spit? Earlier it was reported that the West transferred boats and equipment to Ukraine for crossing water barriers.
S.Yu: Of course, there is always a threat from water, from air, and so on. They collected boats and watercraft, including boats of ordinary fishermen, we have information about this. Landing is possible both from the sea, from the estuary, and from the air. But we are ready to repel the attack.
