Russian Jews are zombied by TV, but Ukrainians know the truth - Dnepropetrovsk rabbi

This was stated in an interview with the Kyiv magazine “Novoye Vremya” by the chief rabbi of Dnepropetrovsk and the Dnepropetrovsk region, Shmuel Kaminetsky, in his opinion, there is a split between Russian and Ukrainian Jews, and cited the community in Berlin as an example.
“There are local Jews and a large diaspora from Russia and Ukraine,” the rabbi noted. – Disputes between them almost lead to fights, because Russian Jews are zombied by television. They do not see the situation, but Ukrainian Jews know the truth about what Vladimir Putin is doing and what Russia is doing. Therefore, the relationship between them is very tense. Those Jews who live in Russia are very intimidated, so they cannot speak freely.”
However, the publication’s interlocutor believes that Russian Jews are only pretending to believe the Russian leadership.
“I explain it this way: the leaders of the Jewish community, being responsible for the Jews of Russia, must be included in the Kremlin,” says Kaminetsky. – And in order to come to terms with the situation, he tuned in (so in the text. – Ed.) to perceive everything that is said there as the truth. Despite this, three or four rabbis have already been expelled from Russia. They were declared Mossad agents. I feel very sorry for them. And even though we haven’t overcome all the difficulties yet, we have freedom.”
Let us note that Shmuel Kaminetsky himself was born in Israel, and came to Ukraine only in 1990.
