Six MiG-35 multi-role fighters entered the US air defense identification zone (ADZ) and were intercepted by US and Canadian Air Force aircraft in the Alaska area, said Jeff Davis, a spokesman for the North American Aerospace Defense Command.
“A group of Russian aircraft looped south, heading back west toward Russia,” Davis said.
