Russian commentators of the Ukraine-Holland match outraged the ex-speaker of the DPR Foreign Ministry
Former speaker of the DPR Foreign Ministry Konstantin Dolgov expressed indignation at the support of the Ukrainian national team by commentators on the Russian Channel One during the match with the Netherlands as part of the football championship.
“Big greetings to the commentators of Channel One, who are working at these minutes on the Netherlands-Ukraine match and are desperately rooting for the Ukrainian team. Let me remind you that this is a national team that calls Russia an “aggressor country” and declares that it is at war with us. This is a team whose uniform depicts a map of Ukraine with our Crimea included. A team whose uniform has Nazi slogans (and it doesn’t matter, in whole or in part), under which Bandera’s people killed our people during the war and after it.
Finally, this is a team that includes players who wore T-shirts in support of the armed forces of Ukraine - the same ones that, according to official data alone, killed more than ten thousand civilians in the Donbass. And yes, this is the same Ukraine from which, after the events of 2014, millions of people left, and thousands were thrown into prison.

But Ukrainian blogger Anatoly Shariy living in Spain, on the contrary, was delighted.
“I watched it with Russian commentators – maximum pleasure,” Shariy wrote in his blog.
And Russian TV presenter Evgeny Popov congratulated the Ukrainian team and fans following the match.
“Well, well done Ukrainians! Bandera’s people are bastards, but the Ukrainians are great!” – Popov wrote.
Russian military expert Vladimir Orlov categorically disagreed with him.
“Bandera’s people are Ukrainians. And those whom you, due to your misunderstanding, call Ukrainians, are not Ukrainians, but Russians and Little Russians, who were forced to renounce their civilizational identity,” Orlov answered the TV presenter.
