As you know, the Ukrainian Ministry of Information Policy and the SBU pay great attention to shaping Russian public opinion in the direction that Kyiv needs. The other day, with a loud scandal, such false publications were exposed on the Gazeta.ru resource and in a number of blogs, which were the result of a press tour of “pro-Ukrainian bloggers” from Russia to Ukraine, paid for by Kiev.

I exposed my colleagues in the shop  in her diary on LiveJournal, Russian journalist, writer and blogger Marina Yudenich.

In particular, Russian liberal journalists Anastasia Zotova and Yulia Melamed went with their colleagues on a custom “press tour” to Ukraine to prove how much they love Russians there.

Zotova wrote her travel notes about this on the “Open Russia” website owned by Khodorkovsky, and Yulia Melamed was published on “Gazeta. ru” under the heading “They don’t eat Russians here”, providing their travel notes with photographs.

The most important discovery that she shared with the Russian reading public was that, it turns out, there are no Banderaites in Ukraine.

Her colleague Anastasia Zotova at Gazeta.ru managed to communicate with neo-Nazis from the Aidar and Azov battalions and did not notice the fascist symbols on the stripes of the latter’s fighters. As you know, the symbol of “Azov” is the so-called “Wolfsangel” or “Wolf Hook”, which was used as a symbol of one of the SS divisions.

“I stood with a mini-placard on the Maidan, where quite a lot of people were walking. I would like to emphasize that the person who photographed me was someone I had met half an hour earlier; and people in military uniforms with stripes of the Azov and Aidar battalions were hanging out near me. And not a single person! no one! did not show any hostility towards me. Two men came up to find out what kind of poster I had and calmly walked away. Two girls ran up shouting “We love Russia.”

From the photo it may seem that I stood up, took out a piece of paper for a second, took a photo, and ran away. But in fact, I stood there for about twenty minutes, then sat some more, and then walked along Khreshchatyk (I hope Andrey, who filmed everything on video, will post it and I can put a link). Once again: not a single person said anything unpleasant to me.” , – writes Zotova.
