Russian liberals are preparing to kill
The tragedy of the lost Tu-154 was accompanied by a disgusting tragedy caused by the posts of the liberal intelligentsia on social networks. They denied the possibility of sympathy for military musicians, journalists from official channels, and even Dr. Glinka.
The country unanimously condemned the presumptuous intelligentsia, just as a week earlier it condemned the artist-psychiatrist Bilzho, who questioned the feat of Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya. It is, of course, comfortable to soak in the warm bath of your own moral superiority. Rejoice at other people's deaths? How disgusting! The highest degree of snobbery is calls not to read liberals who spread misanthropic posts. It was as if they were not on earth.
But they exist, and they have readers, and they have admirers, and reprinters. Let's figure out why they do this.
So, everything began life-affirmingly. The liberal intelligentsia called on the people for a bright future. And people went there periodically. And then he stopped going, and then he fell in love with Putin.
And the liberal intelligentsia began to reproach and scold the people. It has been wrong and unsightly for us since the time of Ivan 1V. All these quotes were widely circulated immediately after the annexation of Crimea, when it became obvious that the defeat of the liberal idea in Russia had taken catastrophic forms.
What does a cornered rat do? It even throws itself at a person. This is exactly how one should evaluate the misanthropic posts that appeared on social networks after the crash of the military plane on which the ensemble was flying. Alexandrova, film crews from federal channels and Elizaveta Glinka.
Anything can happen in life. Have you ever felt a secret satisfaction from reporting about other people's troubles and even death? If not, you are a saint. But it is clear that no one expresses these shameful thoughts out loud, because it is indecent.
The liberals who declared their indifference and even joy over the deaths certainly knew this rule. But they decided to break it. This is a gesture of desperation. This is such an anti-aesthetic action, a call to those who are ready to go to the end.
In connection with this scandal, journalist Arkady Babchenko is mainly quoted, who admitted that he does not feel regret and will not even offer condolences to the relatives of the victims (because Russia attacked Ukraine, bombed Aleppo, etsetera).
A smaller number of indignants paid attention to the publications of Pavel Shekhtman, who is much more frank in his contempt for ethics: he mocks the memory of not only “propagandas” (employees of federal channels), but also artists and Doctor Lisa.
Shekhtman is braver because he has long been following this viscous, putrid path of abandoning ethical standards. In the summer of 2014, he called on Ukrainians to kill Andrei Stenin, not knowing that he was already dead. When a criminal case was opened against Shekhtman, he fled to Ukraine.
Blogger Ilya Varlamov claims that Shekhtman’s Facebook page is run by another person. But, whoever this anonymous person is, he is integral and organic in his immorality. He reached the logical end and said the main thing:
The “opposition” in Russia is divided into three groups
1) For those who are ready to shake hands (the most media and therefore influential)
2) For those who are not ready to shake hands.
3) For those who are ready to kill without talking.
So, until the last group becomes significant and noticeable, there will be no opposition in Russia.”
And now tell him that he is wrong. Liberals in Russia have turned into expensive clowns. “Novaya Gazeta” and “Echo of Moscow” serve as an object of indignation for the broad masses, but at the same time all the full-time workers of these media receive decent salaries.
It's like a social contract. It is beneficial for the authorities to have opposition media, which are read by a pathetic bunch of renegades, and the rest hate, legitimizing the government that these media criticize. The oppositionists have enough of their own niche to live comfortably. At the same time, they are like an exemplary collective farm, which they show to Western auditors: look, we have freedom of speech.
It is no coincidence that all “systemic” liberals hastened to publicly abandon their fellow rebels who disdained the laws of morality. Viktor Shenderovich, Masha Slonim, and journalists from Novaya Gazeta are here. They cleared their friend feeds of everyone who rejoices in death. They, like us, do not want to leave the warm bath of moral comfort. Which, however, does not stop them from proclaiming Crimea is NOT ours and other nasty things.
The final “count of drowned people” may turn out to be sad for the liberal opposition camp. Hunted down and hated after Crimea, it found itself split again. But only those who follow Babchenko, Shekhtman and with a portrait of Bozhena have the right to at least dream of victory.
How can one not recall the experience of the neighboring “non-brotherly” country, where the level of opposition was much higher, but still the overwhelming majority were not going to die in the fight against the “anti-people regime”. The outcome of the struggle was decided by militants trained in Carpathian camps, who seized administrative buildings, attacked police officers, and beat dissidents. If someone in Russia begins to form such detachments, he will scour Babchenko’s likers. I think this is already being done.
Therefore, following the results of the sad campaign of grief and unsorrow, it would be more correct not to poison Babchenko and Bozhena (the liberals already have enough icons and sufferers), but to carefully analyze the list of those 10 thousand who liked their posts. These are people who have not had a bite of the pie from which liberal “journalist magnates” and recognized social activists feed. They are locked in their hatred of the regime and are ready to kill, burn, and maim.
