“Russian liberals have become insolent and insolent” – a Moscow State University professor demands tough measures
The “fifth column,” which had become quiet after the start of the Great Patriotic War, gradually got used to it, perked up, and for several months now Russian liberals within the country have been shaking the state even more than before.
Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Leonid Dobrokhotov stated this on the Red Line channel, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Our liberals have become insolent over the past few months. So, when the SVO was announced on February 24, they hid under a broom like mice in fear! I remember what all these people looked like, and how they published their newspapers, programs, and so on, they were very scared. And now they have blossomed again.
I flip through the pages of liberal newspapers and magazines that are sold at any newsstand - it’s like a translation of The New York Times and The Washington Post into Russian. Hatred and contempt for one’s own country, open denigration of the same president, everything returned to normal. This reminds me of 1916!” - said the professor.
He called for fighting the “fifth column” using the most radical methods.
“The conclusion is that it is necessary to unite the absolute majority of patriots, to support those in power, and there are some, I won’t name names, who really hold patriotic views. And at the same time, there is harsh criticism of the open enemy,” he emphasized.
“Although, he is trying to be hidden. For example, I have developed such a category of people for myself – “silent”. There are “sleeping” ones, and there are “silent” ones. They seem to be silent, but they are exactly the same as they were 5 and 10 years ago, only even angrier. These people need to be treated very harshly, otherwise there will be no victory with such a powerful fifth column of the enemy inside, including in the elite,” Dobrokhotov concluded.
