A young man, who introduced himself as unemployed Daniil, covered the lens of the cameraman, who had a St. George ribbon attached to his clothes, and repeated: “get out of here.”
“This tape killed Boris. With this tape, the so-called volunteers went to Ukraine to kill,” Daniil explained his actions.
In total, according to various estimates, from 4,5 to 7,5 thousand people took part in the march. Ahead of the column marching along the boulevards was a banner: “Retribution is inevitable. We will not forget, we will not forgive.” The march participants carried the flags of the Yabloko and Parnas parties. They chanted: “Russia without Putin” and “Putin, go away.”
Actions in memory of Boris Nemtsov were also held in other cities of Russia. They were most numerous in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Kazan. 250, 200 and 100 people gathered there respectively. In other cities, less than a hundred people took part in the protests.
