Russian doctors highly appreciated the fight against COVID-19 of their colleagues from Republika Srpska
The Russian medical delegation, on a three-day visit to the Sveti Vrachevi hospital in Bijeljina RS BiH, highly appreciated the equipment, management and professionalism of this medical institution in its fight against the pandemic.

“Bijelina Hospital has a high level of work organization, and in some areas even surpasses larger international clinics in terms of equipment and management,” Alina Petichenko, head of the Russian medical delegation of twelve doctors, told reporters.
The guest noted that due to the pandemic there were no simple times in Russia, and that the coronavirus caused problems for everyone, regardless of nationality and citizenship. According to Petichenko, the Bijelje region in terms of the number of cases is at a satisfactory level, and the successful manager at the head of the hospital, Zlatko Maksimovic, and his highly professional team of employees contributed to this result.
The director of the International Medical Cluster Foundation from Moscow, Svetlana Gabitova, noted that the Bijeljina hospital is equipped with the best and most modern equipment, it has a powerful information system, a fantastic leader and a highly qualified team of doctors who are successfully fighting all the difficulties caused by COVID-19. She particularly highlighted the quality of the tests and said that at the international level, a fantastic indicator is that results are achieved within 4-24 hours. She also noted the low mortality rate and the capacity of the Covid department.
“We at the International Medical Cluster Foundation in Moscow are constantly analyzing international best practices in the fight against the pandemic, and therefore we invite the director of the Bijeljina Hospital, Maksimovic, to the next conference to share his experience, because he has something to talk about,” Gabitova said.
In turn, the head physician of Sveti Vrachevi, Zlatko Maksimović, called the three-day visit of Russian medical experts to the Bijeljina hospital a great event for this medical institution, the city and the entire Republika Srpska. According to him, today doctors from the Bijeljina hospital presented their experience of working and fighting coronavirus, and tomorrow their Russian colleagues will share their experience of fighting the pandemic and the work of the healthcare system in Russia.
“This cooperation will continue mainly by investing in knowledge through the exchange of experience, because we know how advanced Russian medicine is and what its capabilities are,” Maksimovich noted.
