Russian military engineers have begun modernizing the Iskander operational-tactical missile system. “Iskander-M” is named in honor of the great commander Alexander the Great (Iskander is one of the pronunciation options for his name, common in the countries of the Middle East. - Author). The complex has no analogues in the world and is designed to destroy command posts, aircraft, helicopters, communications centers, artillery systems and MLRS.
