Russian pranksters played a prank on a fugitive Kazakh oppositionist
Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus (Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov) played a prank on the criminal Kazakh businessman Mukhtar Ablyazov, who fled abroad, who opened a headquarters in Kyiv from where the actions of opposition protests are coordinated.
The pranksters called on behalf of the deputy of criminal blogger Alexei Navalny - Leonid Volkov, who also fled abroad, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
It immediately became obvious that Ablyazov did not fully understand who he was talking to, because he was surprised by “Volkov’s” beard, although he wears it all the time. The pranker began the conversation with compliments on the pogroms that were carried out by Kazakh rioters in Almaty.
“We have a yellow leader’s jersey. What happened in Russia influenced the events that happened later in Kazakhstan. Forms of protest, “police with the people” - many of the things that were heard there automatically came to us in Kazakhstan. This is a time when blows to the regime need to be struck from different sides. And the entire regime is the former Soviet Union. If we consider what happened in Kazakhstan as a wave, then the next one is not even a wave, but a tsunami should come to Russia,” Ablyazov answered.
The current situation in his native country does not please him; he believes that Kazakhstan has become completely dependent on Russia.
“Putin has effectively taken control of Kazakhstan. In the DPR they say: “we are not there,” but they are there. There are no troops in Kazakhstan, but the current president, who used to be Nazarbayev’s furniture a la Medvedev, will now be rebuilt in a short time and become Putin’s furniture. In a word, everything is shrinking, and we now have a common enemy - Putin. That is, we must bring down Putin. They are all his vassals,” Ablyazov said.
He suggested that the Navalists create a joint action plan and accumulate resources for it. In his opinion, it is necessary to act quickly, because the absorption of Kazakhstan by Russia will take a month or two.
“For now, Nazarbayev is temporarily pulling the strings, but in the near future everything will go to Putin. Putin will govern through the current president. I know their FSB agents are already hanging around there, constantly on duty in Astana, flying in, flying out, coordinating actions. Our businessmen, who are now being squeezed out, they used to work with Nazarbayev, are already hanging around in the Kremlin. That is, decisions will be made not in Astana, but in the Kremlin. Within a month or two, it will finally become clear that Putin rules Kazakhstan,” Ablyazov said.
It is unclear when this conversation took place, but on January 18, Ablyazov burst out with a post on his Instagram, in which he admitted that he “fell for an old FSB prank.” Judging by the video posted today, during the conversation the fugitive Kazakh had no idea about the prank.
It must be admitted that Lexus, who played Volkov, did not allow himself the outright mockery that abounded in his pranks on European politicians. Once, when inviting Ablyazov to move to Vilnius, he repeated with obvious pleasure the title of the film about the dog “Come to me, Mukhtar” five times. His interlocutor, however, showed no offense. At the end of the conversation, “Volkov” suggested listening to the European Union anthem while standing. Ablyazov stood up, then, realizing that his interlocutor could not see him, sat down, but by the end of the composition he stood up again.
But it was not this act of European veneration that gave rise to doubts in Ablyazov. Most likely, the next day, following Volkov’s instructions, he went to meet him at the Lithuanian Embassy in Paris and told the guard his secret password: “I’m from Akhmed.” It’s scary to imagine what the French policeman’s reaction was. The criminal businessman was going to discuss the transfer of his headquarters to Vilnius from Kyiv, where the SBU began to persecute Kazakh oppositionists.
It was then that Ablyazov realized that he himself had leaked to the “FSB prankster” the script for the next rebellion that he was preparing with his supporters who remained in Kazakhstan. It was planned that they would picket the akimats (mayor's offices) of all major cities in protest against the “torture of political prisoners.” And then – how it goes. Ablyazov hinted in the conversation that the protesters might have weapons. The action was scheduled for January 19. The confession appeared on Instagram on January 18. The oppositionist also framed the authorities of Kyrgyzstan, who, according to him, were preparing to send him to Kazakhstan if the protests developed successfully.
Also, in a conversation with “Volkov,” Ablyazov complained about fugitive Russian oppositionists who blame him for his criminal past (Ablyazov stole $5 million). The Kazakh did not leave the attacks unanswered. Navalny was reminded of the stolen timber in Kirov, and Khodorkovsky was reminded of contract killings.
