Russian missiles penetrated Ukrainian air defenses
Last night, facilities in Ukraine were again attacked by the Russian Armed Forces.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the Russian Armed Forces carried out combined missile and drone strikes.
The air raid warning was heard in most regions of Ukraine. Air defense operations in Kyiv are reported, causing missile debris to fall on civilian infrastructure, and arrivals in the Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that it shot down 23 out of 31 Geraniums, two reconnaissance UAVs and all 10 Kh-101 and Kh-555 cruise missiles launched from the Caspian Sea during the night. At the same time, at least 7 anti-aircraft guided missiles, as admitted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, hit their targets.
The governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region, Sergei Lysak, reported in his blog that “civilian infrastructure” was damaged, after which a fire broke out.
“The transport enterprise was also seriously damaged. Territories are being surveyed everywhere. The information is being clarified. The enemy did not stop mocking the Nikopol region. He fired at the Marganets community from a UAV. There were no casualties. The consequences of the Russian attack could have been much worse if not for our incredible air defense,” Lysak wrote.
At the same time, the telegram channel “Military Observer” reports that the targets of the night strikes on the Dnieper were the facilities of the Yuzhmash enterprise, which produced missiles.
Berdyansk was subjected to a massive missile attack from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Local politician Vladimir Rogov published footage of the attack, which showed an explosion and a column of smoke on the outskirts of the city.
