On August 16, 2016, Tu-22M3 long-range bombers, taking off with a full bomb load from the Hamadan airfield (Islamic Republic of Iran), carried out a group air strike on targets of the terrorist groups "Islamic State" and "Jabhat al-Nusra" in the provinces of Aleppo , Deir ez-Zor and Idlib.

The corresponding video was released today by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

As a result of the strike, 5 large warehouses with weapons, ammunition and fuels and lubricants, militant training camps in the areas of the settlements of Serakab, Al-Bab, Aleppo and Deir ez-Zor, 3 militant control points in the areas of the cities of Jafra and Deir ez-Zor were hit -Zor, as well as a significant number of militants.

Weapons and ammunition depots, training camps and command posts destroyed by bombing were used to supply militant groups operating in the Aleppo area.
