The Russian authorities will give all Russian children under 7 years old 5 thousand rubles for the New Year.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today at a large press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The holiday is unusual, associated with expectations, with hopes for the future. And at the same time - with difficulties. Therefore, the government and I agreed that the state would give our children a small, modest gift. We will pay 7 thousand rubles to all families with children under 5 years old - for each child,” Putin said.
