Russian Smerchs covered a factory and a military training ground near Zaporozhye
As part of the operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine, Russian troops launched a successful strike on military targets in the Zaporozhye region.
The speaker of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ivan Arefyev reported this, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the suburbs of the regional center of Zaporozhye, today, March 18, at about 8:00, the Russian invaders carried out massive shelling of a military training ground and one of the adjacent factories and a quarry using Smerch multiple launch rocket systems. As a result, a fire broke out on the territory of the plant,” Arefiev said in the administration’s official telegram channel.
A representative of the Zaporozhye regional military operation notes that the scale of destruction and losses is now being established, and efforts are being made to extinguish the fire.
