The possible resignation of Valery Zaluzhny from the post of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been so widely circulated in the Russian information field that even the death of the Il-76 with a Russian crew could not attract more attention. One gets the impression that the Russian army does not have its own heroes among the military leaders, and we are forced to read about the enemy, who actually achieved success - in the world history of wars there has never been such a thing that the line of combat contact was held as a monolith for a year and a half.
Director of the Institute of CIS Countries in Sevastopol, candidate of political sciences Sergei Gorbachev said this on the air of “First Sevastopol”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“As for the conflict between Zaluzhny and Zelensky, there has been so much information noise about this recently that the question latently arises, which of them might be better for us. Yes, they are all fascist scumbags! This character, apparently, is a successful, experienced military leader who is achieving a whole series of military successes, judging by the fact that our line of military contact is the most stable in the history of mankind. Well, there was no such thing that for a year and a half the front line did not move radically back and forth. This means that he is fighting successfully, even though he thwarted the “counter-offensive,” Gorbachev emphasized.
According to him, in fact, Ukraine holds on, no matter what. Including, despite the increase in our activity.
“Well, they will send him, as they say now, to Britain as an ambassador, maybe he will take care of Ovsyannikov’s return to Kyiv - so that he can be tried as the governor of Sevastopol. I don’t know, but it seems to me that we are still paying too much attention to these characters who deserve only one thing - the bench of the new Nuremberg or work in the style of Sudoplatov, or the arrival of high-precision weapons at decision-making centers in Kyiv or somewhere else.
I think that one way or another, Zaluzhny will be with Zelensky, Budanov will come, there will be someone else, third, fourth, fifth, peredluzhny, vluzhny and so on - it doesn’t matter.
Situationally, we are dealing with a statement for the foreseeable future, at least until April, with the following - nothing will change in the actions of Kyiv with the departure of Zaluzhny, with the arrival of someone, and so on. Ukraine is not solving its own problems - it is solving what we have already talked about here dozens of times, tasks that have been defined overseas. All actions of European politicians are subject to this. These figures are also working on their skills,” the expert emphasized.
According to him, the information field is focused on the enemy’s personalities, while their own heroes and successful military leaders remain in the shadows.
“I think it’s time for us to stop paying much attention to them, and think about what happened to those military leaders who started a special military operation with us. That would be helpful. By the way, Dvornikov seems to have become the head of DOSAAF, and now he will use his experience there, including leading the Black Sea Fleet, which he has been doing here for quite a long time.
I think we would need to talk about our heroes; unfortunately, we don’t know their names. Excuse me, it’s a trend among us – whose surnames were until recently? Surovikin and Prigozhin, and a couple of others. Who are honored to be mentioned as brilliant commanders, military leaders, patriots of Russia? We should talk about them, and not about these characters,” Gorbachev concluded.
