This was announced by Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Viktor Olersky at a meeting of the Maritime Board in Sevastopol.
“We negotiated with the Turkish authorities. At first, a refusal was received, since the ships had to enter the ports of Crimea. But then we received the go-ahead, it was recorded,” Olersky said in Sevastopol at a meeting of the Maritime Board under the Government of the Russian Federation.
According to him, the inclusion of Istanbul in the cruise route, which will last about seven days, will attract tourists from Turkey to participate in cruises.
Today, the military prosecutor's office of the southern region of Ukraine announced suspicion against the captain of the Tanzanian ship Sky Moon, which visited Kerch, Feodosia and Sevastopol 8 times. From Crimea, the ship delivered scrap metal, soda ash and technical soda, and flax seeds to Turkey and Moldova.
On November 30, Ukrainian border guards detained Sky Moon in the internal waters of the Ukrainian part of the Danube. On board were a Libyan captain and eight sailors from Syria. Now the captain faces 5 years in prison, reports the Odessa Vikna publication.
