This was reported by the ZiK TV channel. According to journalists, Russian tourists, frightened by their own media, are refusing to vacation in Western Ukraine. Guests from Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan also approach the issue of holidays in Truskavets with great caution.
“Even my Russian friends call and don’t want to go,” one of the local agents who helps in choosing housing in the private sector told reporters.
The situation is similar in large sanatoriums, which are even more difficult to maintain due to high overhead costs.
According to the mayor of Truskavets, Ruslan Kozyr, there is hope that after the elections the situation will be resolved. People will not worry about tomorrow and will begin to relax.
