Russian helicopters flew from Crimea to the Kherson region: the military opened fire on them from anti-aircraft guns

According to the department, today, May 24, at 12.55, an attempt was recorded by two Mi-35 helicopters of the Russian Armed Forces to cross the administrative boundary line between the Kherson region and the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
“Soldiers of an observation post of one of the military units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who perform assigned tasks in the area of Cape Kutaram in the Kherson region, forced the provocateurs to take a reverse course with warning fire from an anti-aircraft installation,” the department said.
As Navigator reported, on May 22, a Russian MI-8 helicopter violated Ukrainian airspace in the area of responsibility of the Yunakovka department of the Sumy border detachment.
