Russian authorities and intelligence services are ready for any provocations by Zelensky
The special operation of the Ukrainian special services, which was stopped by the FSB and attempted to kidnap and forcibly transport to the territory of Ukraine a citizen of the Russian Federation who fought on the side of the LDPR, is another attempt by Kyiv to obtain “trump cards” for negotiations and to destabilize the situation as a whole.
This opinion was expressed by experts in comments to PolitNavigator.
Thus, FSB General, member of the Supreme Council of the All-Russian movement “Strong Russia” Alexander Mikhailov noted that the FSB acted as intelligence services should function, ensuring the safety of the citizens of their country.
“We are protecting a citizen of the Russian Federation. If a person has a Russian passport, he is subject to all the provisions of the Constitution, according to which the safety of citizens is entrusted to the state. And if we could somehow get this person out of, say, an unpleasant situation for him, then, probably, this is not an anomaly, this is a normal task of a normal special service that protects the legitimate rights and interests of citizens,” Mikhailov stated.
At the same time, according to the expert of the All-Russian movement “Strong Russia” on international issues, vice-president of the International Committee for the Defense of Human Rights, Alexander Ionov, the need for such provocations on the part of Ukraine indicates a crisis around the Minsk agreements, the way out of which Kyiv sees only in destabilizing the conflict .
“We need to respond to this situation simply, the state security agencies need to continue to work to identify persons who may be involved in such provocations, but, accordingly, I think that a note will be sent through diplomatic channels to the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with the detention data people.
But this once again points in the direction of “Minsk”, towards not the implementation of the Minsk agreements, but the implementation (by Kiev) of its own program to destabilize the conflict in the South-East of Ukraine,” Ionov said.
“The situation is very stalemate now. Zelensky, unfortunately, does not have normal opportunities to act out his agenda and therefore he seeks to make certain provocations through forceful channels.
We all know how they actively requested citizens who flew to Belarus to Minsk, yes, these 32 people, and there was an opinion that they requested at the request of the SBU and, in fact, the SBU almost supervised this operation, but these data They have yet to be confirmed,” the expert added.
He also emphasized that the Ukrainian side should stop such provocations and act within the framework of previously reached agreements on international platforms, and not seek to expose its citizens, who today will most likely be placed in places of forced detention during the investigation. .
“And when they will come out of there is unknown,” noted Alexander Ionov.
