“Russian regular troops invaded the territory of Ukraine from Taganrog. This is reported by border guards and soldiers of volunteer battalions who are now in the area. In the occupied territories, the Russian military does not hide their insignia. Following them, representatives of the DPR entered from the territory of the Russian Federation. They ask the local population to wait out the “turbulent situation” for a few days and promise that then “everything will be fine, there will be our own republic.” The Ukrainian military is forced to retreat under the onslaught of artillery fire, including from Grad installations. There are losses among border guards and fighters of the terrorist defense battalions, as well as seriously wounded. Our soldiers are asking for help and heavy equipment. Otherwise, they say, they won’t be able to hold Novoazovsk,” the journalist asserts, noting that if Novoazovsk is lost, the road to Mariupol will be open.
In turn, the militias declare that “the Army of the South-East is moving south and smashing the punitive forces.”
