Russian troops “liberated” a village in Armenia captured by militants
In Armenia, at the Kamhud high-mountain training ground, the Russian military staged a demonstration urban battle, taking into account the skills acquired during the war in Syria.

Officers and contract soldiers from the Southern Military District liberated the settlement from the mock enemy and illegal armed groups with the help of motorized rifle, tank, anti-aircraft missile, artillery, engineering and medical units.
“During the action, self-propelled gun and air defense missile crews carried out artillery and air defense preparations for the offensive. Unmanned aircraft conducted reconnaissance of the area, after which the crews of infantry fighting vehicles and T-72 tanks blocked the captured settlement and attacked the mock enemy. Then reconnaissance, medical and engineering units carried out a clean-up operation and provided assistance to the victims,” the statement said.
Previously, the CSTO troops conducted the “Indestructible Brotherhood - 2018” exercise, the idea of which involves practicing tasks on the territory of a state that is not a member of the collective defense. The media wrote that inCSTO troops may enter Donbass as peacekeepers.
