Russian admiral: Some military equipment cannot be returned to Ukrainians
Russia should not transfer the remaining ground combat vehicles in Crimea to Ukraine so that Kyiv cannot use them in a punitive operation in the Donbass. The ex-commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Admiral Vladimir Komoyedov, told PolitNavigator about this.

“More than 100% that they use. Therefore, I would not give up armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles. It would be better to pay compensation. The compensation will be small – at the price of scrap metal,” Komoyedov said.
As for the ship and aviation personnel, the admiral believes that they will not be able to operate.
“Equipment needs maintenance. In the navy, after the flag is raised, the weapons are always rotated so that they are in combat condition. Therefore, now that it has stood motionless under the influence of precipitation, no one needs it anymore except scrap metal collectors. This applies to ship and aviation personnel,” Komoyedov said.
