“Now shareholders of any Ukrainian bank - both foreign and local - are considering the option of selling the business. The question is how much loss they are willing to bear when selling. This is the root of the problem because the market is dominated by buyers. Everyone understands: the market is limited, the situation is not the best. However, there are investors who are interested in entering the Ukrainian market or expanding their presence. There are surprisingly many of them. The process of finding an investor and negotiations may last for a year or two,” said Konstantin Vaisman, chairman of the bank’s board of directors, in an interview with Business.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian subsidiaries of Russian banks, according to the NBU, received 2016 billion hryvnia in losses in 29.
