The Russian budget for 2023 should take into account the interests of citizens of new regions of the country and participants of the Northern Military District.
Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko said this today, opening parliamentary hearings, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today we look at this forecast with cautious optimism and expect that all stated indicators will be achieved... The budget must guarantee the fulfillment of all social obligations to citizens...
At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the formation of four new subjects within the Russian Federation, in which millions of people live, citizens of Russia, who have the full right to all social payments and benefits. 100% support measures must be provided for the participants of the Northern Military District, including those called up as part of partial mobilization, as well as members of their families,” Matvienko said.
She noted that, according to senators, the priorities in the budget are set correctly.
