Deputy Chairman of the Association of Russian Diplomats Andrei Baklanov stated this on the Red Line TV channel.
According to him, in this way Savchenko is trying to delay the “tough measures” of the Russian Federation.
“Her statements reflect the thoughts of those who are afraid of provoking the Russian Federation to take very tough measures, after which the situation will change not in favor of Kyiv. There are different approaches. One approach is this. And, in my opinion, her approach is to delay this moment, to prevent the opportunity to turn the situation around through a tougher position of the Russian Federation,” Baklanov said.
