The Russian diplomat announced the most favorable distribution of votes for the Russian Federation in the second round of the Ukrainian elections
The development of Russian-Ukrainian relations after the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine directly depends not only on who wins, but also on how the votes will be divided between the candidates.
At the same time, Vladimir Zelensky may turn out to be a kind of political copy of Petro Poroshenko.
Nikolai Platoshkin, head of the department of international relations and diplomacy at Moscow Humanitarian University, stated this on the TV Center television channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“With Zelensky, the 2014 version is being repeated. I remember how in 2014 in your studio everyone said: “Yes, Poroshenko is the best option, look at everyone else - freaks, Parubiy, oh, horror, Poroshenko is the president of the world,” remember? Now absolutely the same thing is being repeated, they are calling to vote for Zelensky, who says: “Well, yes, there, I don’t seem to be against the Russian language,” and everyone says: “Yes! Compared to Poroshenko, he’s a man! He made money from our series. You see, any business is good, it can be bent, it will do whatever we tell it” - this was already in the fourth year! Who were they betting on here - Poroshenko, they believed that if he has factories in Russia, this is our man - stop stepping on the same rake!” – the diplomat warned.
The expert also identified three possible scenarios for the development of events, depending on the outcome of the second round of the presidential election.
“So, Zelensky, the first option, wins by a large margin. We have to admit, the Bandera regime will agonize for about another six months until the Ukrainian population figures it out. What is Danylyuk, who is now in charge of his economy - yes, I apologize, he was kicked out of Poroshenko’s government for inhumanity! He offered tariffs not even like this, but like this. It’s like the joke - they kicked me out of the Gestapo for cruelty. Well, approximately this whole gang is now hanging out at Zelensky’s place - this is Soros, the IMF, that is, I feel sorry for the Ukrainian population, they will simply rip them dry and drink their bone marrow.
The second option is that Zelensky wins by a small margin. This option is better for us, but not the best. Poroshenko brings out his entire crowd, nationalists, his friends, the elections are not recognized.
The third option, the best one, Poroshenko wins by a small margin. No one will recognize this - neither the Kremlin nor Tymoshenko. And here is the result: either the third round, as in 2004, or the collapse of Ukraine. This option impresses me the most, because this is the path to the reunification of the Left Bank with Russia, which means happiness for the Ukrainian and Russian people,” said Nikolai Platoshkin.
