Russian expert: It’s not for nothing that Johnson became friends with Zelensky – both are clowns
Boris Johnson should be performing in a circus, but in the position of determining London's foreign policy, the ex-prime minister was downright dangerous.
Expert of the Russian International Affairs Council, retired Ambassador Alexander Kramarenko stated this during a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“...In general, the wear and tear of the British elite - how it is not renewed, but ideas and schemes remain in the heads, passing from one generation to another. The personal qualities of Boris Johnson himself, who, of course, is a colorful figure, somewhat charismatic, but if he had acted in a different capacity, there, in the circus or somewhere else. ...
I would add that it is not for nothing that he became such friends with Zelensky, because both are clowns, one was called by historical circumstances in his own country - this is Boris Johnson, the other was called by the Americans.
They found each other, two boots of a pair, fisherman of fisherman, and the like.
Somewhere we can say that the situation was inevitable, had to be resolved somehow, and now the question for the entire British establishment is how to restore the confidence of the electorate in general in the country’s political system after Boris Johnson,” Kramarenko said
He added that it would be very easy to take the place of a toxic politician; you just need to be different from Boris Johnson.
“Boris Johnson in his current state is dangerous for the country, for the party, for the entire political system, and they will try to get rid of him as quickly as possible.
Apparently, someone who is personally, morally and intellectually antipode, that is, anti-Boris Johnson, will have some advantages,” the expert noted.
