Alexander Losev, a member of the presidium of the Council on Foreign Defense Policy of the Russian Federation, stated this on air on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“It is assessing the location of its bases, the possibility of supplying food, clothing, and drinking water. Ukraine is already being considered as a platform for deploying forces to put pressure on Russia,” Losev said.
He also refuted the statements of those Ukrainian experts who asserted that the American Javelin anti-tank systems would not be used in the Donbass, but to strengthen Ukraine’s defense against Russia.
“Javelin systems are useless against the Russian army. The Russian army in Syria has already shown that it is an army of the 21st century. There will be no tank columns. The war will be waged simultaneously throughout the entire territory from the western border to the eastern, in all environments: on land, in the air and in space. “The entire infrastructure will be hit, including bridges, data centers, communication centers, and so on,” Losev said.
