Russian expert: “A response has been prepared, and it does not provide for soldiers entering the territory”
Russia is ready to give an asymmetrical response to Ukraine’s aggression in Donbass.
Military conflict expert Sergei Kolmogorov spoke about this on the YouTube channel “Faculty of Higher Management,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have already prepared a response to the provocation in Donbass, and it does not include soldiers entering the territory. It’s very simple: a couple of flights take off from Baltimore near Voronezh, and that’s it: destruction of communication centers, telecommunication centers, weapons depots,” Kolmogorov said.
At the same time, he believes that Ukraine is not able to cause significant damage to Donbass.
“Western countries, so to speak, partners, Ukraine is pumping it with weapons, but small arms: grenade launchers, machine guns, machine guns, at best, heavy machine guns. Moreover, they are all expired... Ukraine is on a stretch. Now they need to put all this ammunition somewhere. Normal guys refuse to go to Donbass. Everything there is in ambushes and minefields, and all tank-dangerous directions have been turned into long-term firing points,” Kolmogorov said.
According to his assessment, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to advance a maximum of 2-3 km deep into the territory of the LDPR in a day, after which a powerful flow of volunteers from Russia will pour into Donbass.
“In 2015-16, people are understated and unfinished. A lot of people will go there. I think that the mobilization reserve in Donbass is about 80 thousand people. They were all waiting for this, they are all already with good equipment, they will go to old friends in the old trenches, everything will be fine there,” Kolmogorov said.
