Within their framework, the R-109 missile boat conducted an artillery battle at sea with “enemy” ships, carried out artillery firing at a towed shield and jammed. The crew of the Bora missile hovercraft will soon perform similar tasks at sea.
The tasks of detecting mines and clearing fairways with the actual setting of trawls were carried out by the sea minesweepers (MTSh) "Ivan Golubets" and "Kovrovets", the search for minefields will also be carried out by the minesweepers "Valentin Pikul".
The crew of the large landing ship "Nikolai Filchenkov" conducted a special tactical exercise on disembarking (unloading) personnel and equipment, and during the sea crossing they worked on organizing the defense and protection of the ship.
Acceptance of missions from fleet ships will continue; next week, Su-24 front-line bombers and Be-12 amphibious aircraft of the Black Sea Fleet Naval Aviation will be used to support exercises and training on organizing air defense at sea. In total, about 10 aircraft will take to the skies, said the head of the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet, captain 1st rank Vyacheslav Trukhachev.
