Russian general: “All mobilized must be dragged through training centers”
The military personnel mobilized into the ranks of the Russian army will help cover the state border of the Russian Federation from Ukraine and fill the shortage of specialists in the units and formations that work in the special operation zone.
State Duma deputy, member of the parliamentary defense committee, reserve general Andrei Gurulev stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The politician revealed the list of military specialties that need to be closed first.
“Why exactly 300 thousand people need to be mobilized? This figure was calculated by our General Staff at:
1) replenishment of the shortage of units and formations that operate in the NWO zone;
2) it is necessary to cover the state border in the Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, part of the Voronezh regions, partly in Crimea;
3) in the liberated territories there are empty rear areas; road and commandant regiments are needed there to ensure order.
Let us remember Chechnya - the CTO regime, its main task is to protect and escort convoys on routes, and if all the main roads are blocked, then not a single mouse will slip through anywhere, which will exclude the penetration of the DRG and the commission of terrorist attacks.
We need our combined arms officers, crews of combat vehicles: armored personnel carriers, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, gunners, driver mechanics, squad commanders, drivers of various categories, the further we go to Ukraine, the larger the delivery arm becomes, we are forced to keep warehouses at a distance due to their long-range guns.
There is a great need for shooters, snipers, grenade launchers, machine gunners - those who actually work in the combat chain. There is an extreme shortage of sappers, with such a front line it is necessary to equip positions, restore bridges, lay minefields, remove or clear mines.
We need artillerymen of various categories: mortarmen, gunners, anti-tank gunners, jet fighters. Artillery plays a major role. We need repair specialists, air defense specialists, and anti-drone specialists. But air defense and electronic warfare cannot immediately train people to fight drones; for example, it takes three months of intensive training.
The most important thing is that they all need to be brought through training centers. The capabilities of training centers for training personnel do not allow this to be done at once. We need to deploy additional capacity at our training grounds, where people will remember their skills,” Gurulev said.
