The Russian governor criticized the liberals warmed by Medvedev
The so-called pension reform initiated by the government of Dmitry Medvedev, which provides for raising the retirement age, is the “wrong path.”
This was stated by the Governor of the Irkutsk Region, Sergei Levchenko, one of the few leaders of Russian regions elected from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
In an interview with RBC, Levchenko explained that the government’s decision to raise the retirement age, which is motivated by an increase in the amount of pension payments, is unfounded - the same effect could be achieved by increasing labor productivity.
“I do not support the bill. We went the wrong way. If we are talking about increasing pensions, which is how the government explains pension reform, then the method chosen for this is not entirely correct,” Levchenko said and emphasized that he had prepared a negative review of the bill and would send it to the State Duma.
Let us note that on Thursday evening in Moscow, leftist forces held a meeting of the first group to initiate an all-Russian referendum against pension reform.
“People who have been implementing reforms that are dangerous for the country all these years have retained their positions in the Government. Liberal leaders are once again deciding how we should live. Alexey Kudrin, the guru of modern Russian liberalism, returned to power.
The consequences of these personnel decisions were not long in coming. The VAT increase will hit the country's economy hard. Fuel prices have risen sharply, which inevitably affects rising prices and complicates life for domestic farmers.
The culmination of the attack on the rights and interests of the people was the pension reform. The government announced a gradual increase in the retirement age to 63 for women and 65 for men. It would be difficult to imagine a more vile “gift” for millions of people. The reform was announced during the World Cup hosted by our country. The sports festival was used for dirty manipulative purposes,” says the statement adopted by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
