He called on the deputies of the Legislative Assembly to temporarily forget political contradictions and focus on the work of creating a legal framework within which the city will function.
“There is no need to point fingers at each other, tell me: “what is good and what is bad,” and turn the Legislative Assembly of the hero city of Sevastopol into a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. I'm an adult and I understand everything perfectly. The husk will fall off on its own. We have to work,” said Menyailo.
He explained that he is part of the public organization “All-Russian Popular Front”, but does not intend to give preference to a specific political force as a matter of principle.
“I have not joined any party, not because I believe that the United Russia party, or the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, or A Just Russia are pursuing the wrong course. Not at all. The “All-Russian Popular Front” is an organization that can exercise control over all branches of government, make its proposals, without being dependent on any political force. We have one task - not the realization of political ambitions, but the unification of efforts,” Menyailo explained.
