Russian liberal: Ukraine is beginning to turn into an authoritarian country
A one-party system has formed in Ukraine dictatorship with a president at its head, but the country continues to play with the supposed subjectivity of the Servant of the People party.
Russian liberal political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky stated this on the Internet channel “Power VS Vlashchenko,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, power in Ukraine is party, like in the Soviet Union or Putin’s Russia, but comparison with Putin’s Russia is even more appropriate. Because, as in Russia, the party is only an instrument of the president, and not an independent political entity.
Whatever the president says, the party says, also controlling the majority of parliament, but this is a fake party. Therefore, it is pretended that this party has this political subjectivity, it has full-fledged and full-fledged governing bodies. This model is being reproduced with “Servant of the People,” the expert said.
“I don’t believe that Zelensky will be able to tighten the screws like Putin. Or if he succeeds, the world has somehow changed dramatically, and Ukraine has become Russia, the basic principles and theses on which the evolution of the state apparatus and all institutions was built, somehow unexpectedly for us has changed qualitatively. In the case of Zelensky, we see attempts to tighten the screws, simply so that he can manage comfortably,” concluded Belkovsky.
Let us remind you that earlier on Ukrainian TV began to prepare the population to the need to establish a dictatorship in the country under the pretext of the impossibility of carrying out reforms, except under conditions of a strict regime.
