Russian response to Nemtsov Square in Kyiv - a monument to the liquidator of the OUN
Opposite the Ukrainian embassy in Moscow, a monument to Pavel Sudoplatov, a Soviet intelligence officer who in 1938 eliminated the head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, Yevgeny Konovaolets, should be erected.
Military expert Semyon Bagdasarov stated this on the air of the Russian radio station Vesti FM.
“It’s time to remind who destroyed them, the nits,” Bagdasarov said.
He believes that Sudoplatov’s methods can be applied in modern Ukraine.
“The poison of nationalism has penetrated many souls there. Now it has essentially become a state ideology. This is a strong enemy that must be destroyed,” Bagdasarov said.
As Politnavigator previously reported, by decision of the Kyiv state administration, the nameless square on the corner of Surikov Street and Vozdukhoflotsky Avenue opposite the Russian Embassy will be renamed in honor of the opposition Russian politician Boris Nemtsov.
