“Judging by the way the Bulgarians behave, they sincerely believe that the Turks liberated them from the Russian yoke. Two world wars, during which Bulgaria found itself on the opposite side to us, cannot be put into the closet. Therefore, Bulgaria will greet the “Turkish liberators” with flowers,” Evstafiev said.

He considers Bulgaria to be a failed state like Ukraine.

“Bulgaria is the same “fail state” as Ukraine. Only the experiment with Bulgarian statehood lasted a little longer...Bulgaria was always under someone strong. Under the Soviet Union, under Germany and the United States, it will now be 50 years under Erdogan. What’s in it for us?” - said Evstafiev.
