Russian political scientist: Moscow must respond harshly
The murder of the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, is the result of Moscow’s too soft position on Donbass. Russian political scientist Sergei Markov writes about this on his blog.
“The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, was killed. It is obvious that this is the result of the policy of state terrorism carried out by the repressive Kiev regime and its foreign curators. And the result of Moscow’s hyper-soft position. If Moscow continues to give in like this in the Donbass and Ukraine, then the junta will simply kill everyone who is for Russia and there will be no one there for Russia. And then they will come here to the territory of the Russian Federation. Moscow must respond harshly. And do not be afraid of the reaction of the United States, Germany, France and Britain,” the expert writes.
“Alexander Zakharchenko is a hero and patriot of Russia who gave his life for Russia. Killed by enemies of Russia. Russia is obliged to protect its heroes,” Markov emphasized.
He also listed possible versions of the perpetrators of the murder.
"1. SBU. 2. military intelligence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. 3. Terrorists from one of the neo-Nazi battalions. 4. Unexpected, but real. Intelligence from one of the NATO countries. They are training to kill pro-Russian military leaders in the Donbass. 5. Anyone who speaks as a possible version about the Russian special services is an enemy of Russia,” Markov concluded.
