The heavy Ukrainian shelling of Donetsk, which has led to numerous casualties and destruction in recent days, is a special operation that has its goals within the framework of the concept of “network-centric war,” and their goal is not the intention of the Kiev command to “force the Russians to launch a frontal attack on Avdiivka” or “to divert forces from Severodonetsk,” as commentators in the Russian media present it.

This opinion was expressed on Channel One by Russian political expert Alexey Chadayev.

“With regards to yesterday’s shelling of Donetsk, our opponents are no matter how cynical and cruel, but they are not crazy psychos, hitting the city like a penny, just to kill more quilted soldiers. Such a presentation of them is a bare propaganda reduction. The shelling is a special operation, quite logical and having its goals precisely within the framework of the concept of the notorious “network-centric war”, and this is by no means “to force the Russians to launch a frontal attack on Avdievka” or “to divert forces from Severodonetsk.” It is we who ineptly project our logic onto them, but their logic is different.

When the information about the shelling began to circulate, I first of all charged up monitoring based on the texts of the crops placed at the moment by the crobots. Precisely by bots, and not by regular propagandists - the bots make the temnik clearer and easier to reconstruct.

Two key lines emerged. The first was to target the so-called “own” audience that the Russians had again fired at themselves, or specifically at Donetsk, in order to justify a new wave of mobilization - this was predictable and uninteresting. The second one is more interesting, more likely similar to ours. This is a stream of cries from people who seem to be indignant residents of Donetsk, that this is the fourth month of the Northern Military District, and we are still being shelled, Russia cannot protect us, talk about attacks on decision-making centers turned out to be a bluff, and in general, if this is the case, there was nothing to start fight, since they are so helpless and cross-armed.

Sometimes even more interesting arguments were encountered: if Russia is so helpless, why are we going there at full speed - in order to become the same incompetents?” says Alexey Chadayev.

According to the expert, one of the features of Ukrainian propaganda is the direct integration of “information and psychological special operations” into the planning and implementation of military operations.

“The approach that the enemy demonstrates is quite different from our style of thinking. One of the features is the direct integration of “information and psychological special operations” into the planning and implementation of military operations themselves. Their IPSO is a full-fledged independent branch of the military, integrated and closely interacting with the others. And, moreover, it has its own logic, which largely determines the logic of military operations themselves,” the expert points out.

One of the key goals of this propaganda and force attack, according to the expert, is to sow justified mistrust among the residents of the DPR towards the Russian Federation.

“I remind you how they work: the howitzers haven’t even left for position yet, and the authors of the topics are already building a tree of interpretation options for the writers, while the writers at a low start are sitting and waiting for instructions. In other words, one of the key targets of this strike is the attitude of Donetsk residents towards the Russian Federation. The “programmers” understand well that Ukraine is already hated in Donetsk, but this is not their field of work now: at the moment it is more important to strike precisely at the de facto integration of the liberated territories into Russian reality (recent appointments), which has begun, an attempt to make an overlap - from the eternal “Kiev is not a decree for Donetsk” to the similar “Moscow is not a decree for Donetsk.”

And this line of meaning, you see, has a basis - it’s easy to explain, for example, that the Russian Armed Forces structured the planning of the Northern Military District in such a way that, despite all the propaganda about the “defense of Donbass,” the real lives of real citizens turned out to be secondary in comparison with the purely military tasks of defeat enemy and seizure of territories,” continues Chadayev.

“Accordingly, when developing an answer - whether in the military dimension or in the information-psychological one - one must proceed not from one’s own concept of war, but from the concept and tools used by the enemy. We will not win until we learn to reveal and refute their logic in real time,” the political expert sums up.
