“It’s better for everyone to take into account the following in advance: if Ukraine launches a new offensive on Donbass, this time it could well end with a Russian landing in Kyiv,” the expert writes.
“Of course, escalation of hostilities is not beneficial for Russia. That is why tension on the demarcation line remains. But the destruction of Donbass by the Ukrainian army is more unacceptable for Russia than a possible new package of sanctions,” Bondarenko emphasizes.
