Russian political scientist called for an end to mumbling with Ukraine
The termination of the Friendship Treaty with Ukraine on April 1 does not have any significance in the current relations between the two countries.
Political scientist Stanislav Smagin stated this on the Rossiya-24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we talk about Russian-Ukrainian relations, the Treaty of Friendship - the fact that it will end - does not matter at all.
If any Ukrainian leadership suddenly wanted to be friends with Russia, it would do so without an agreement.
Again, if the Russian leadership wants, despite Ukraine’s Russophobic course, to continue to mumble, express concern and continue to support Ukraine, pump money into it, and so on, despite its rabid Russophobic course, it will also continue to do this without agreements,” noted the expert.
