Russian political scientist: Poroshenko’s provocation in Donbass is doomed to failure
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko may use today’s explosion of the OSCE mission’s car in the LPR as an argument for introducing an armed mission to Donbass. Political scientist Oleg Bondarenko told PolitNavigator about this.
“Poroshenko needs reasons to announce the introduction of an armed mission into the territory of Donbass. Therefore, today’s explosion can be considered as a provocation,” Bondarenko said.

At the same time, the expert doubts that the West will now succumb to this provocation from Ukraine.
“The West has never been in a hurry to die. The OSCE itself is against introducing any kind of large armed mission to Donbass, because it smells of human casualties. Nobody wants to send their citizens to death for Poroshenko. And then the West is a little less interested, but such provocations are possible in the future,” Bondarenko said.
