Russian political scientist harshly criticized the new President of Moldova
President of Moldova Igor Dodon uses pro-Russian rhetoric for selfish purposes, making a profit from the supply of agricultural products to the Russian Federation and the admission of Moldovan guest workers there.
Russian political scientist Alexey Martynov stated this in an interview with PolitNavigator columnist Valentin Filippova.
According to him, so far all of Dodon’s pre-election pro-Russian promises have remained just words. On the contrary, Chisinau tightened pressure on Transnistria, and the Moldovan elite also received economic preferences thanks to Russia.
