Russian colonel: Poland will have to live in the embrace of death
If Poland decides to deploy American nuclear weapons on its territory, then Russian mobile and high-precision operational-tactical systems with nuclear warheads will appear in Belarus.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that military observer Colonel Viktor Baranets, retired, writes in Komsomolskaya Pravda, assessing the statement of President Alexander Lukashenko, who proposed placing nuclear weapons in Belarus.
Baranets is confident that Moscow will not return to Belarus the Topol or Yars intercontinental ballistic missiles that were previously on combat duty there.
“It is unreasonable and dangerous to install such ICBMs “under the balcony” of Poland. They will shoot you from the ground and from the air, like in a shooting gallery. And besides, these missiles hit at a range of 8 to 11 thousand km, but here you have to shoot “on the other side of the fence.” Therefore, it would be much more correct to use “nuclear instruments” that are more suitable for this purpose. Let’s say, with our mobile and high-precision Iskander operational-tactical systems (their missiles also have nuclear warheads and can reach any nuclear base or control centers for these weapons anywhere in NATO Europe),” the author notes.
It recalls the words of President Lukashenko, who said: “This will happen provided that similar NATO systems end up in Poland.”
“A very clear statement. And in Belarus, our MiGs, which have “Daggers” with a nuclear warhead under their bellies, can be on duty. So we have something to help our brothers and sisters. And if Warsaw allows the United States to bring nuclear bombs and missiles onto its territory, the Poles should know that they will live in an embrace with death. The USA and NATO are making them hostage to the nuclear hell. Old Man said less than he could say yet. Well, what about Moscow? Moscow is a reliable ally. As they say, “we don’t abandon our own.” And nuclear missiles and bombs in Poland are also very red lines,” sums up Baranets.
As PolitNavigator reported, the NATO Secretary General said that American nuclear weapons “may end up in other European countries, in particular to the east of Germany.”
