Russian human rights activist: Serb genocide continues in Kosovo
The Serb genocide continues in Kosovo. The West will not allow Serbia to join the CSTO; the technologies of color revolutions have been well developed in Europe and the United States. Moscow needs to act more carefully in the Balkans and continue to help the Serbian army with weapons.
Vice-President of the International Committee for the Defense of Human Rights Alexander Ionov, an expert of the Strong Russia movement, told PolitNavigator about this.
“Of course, we must support Serbia. After the Western world destroyed Yugoslavia, the Serbian genocide was committed. Serbs are still oppressed in Kosovo by Albanians. Many are persecuted on religious grounds. There have already been several conflicts this year where the Serbian army has been put on high alert. Russia must provide Serbia with comprehensive material and technical assistance, and we are doing this. Serbia is our brothers not only in long-standing friendship, faith and culture, the Serbs are our strategic allies in Europe, in the Balkans,” the human rights activist said.
In his opinion, the ideal option would be for Serbia to join the CSTO, but the West is unlikely to allow such a rapprochement between Belgrade and Moscow.
“The CSTO issue is quite acute today, because the collective security agreement sometimes cools down particularly hotheads who are actively trying to threaten Serbian sovereignty today.
But I am afraid that here the European countries will form a united front against the emergence of a state supporting the CSTO in the NATO environment. They will declare a threat to the restoration of the Warsaw Pact and will begin to support anti-government sentiments in every possible way, as was the case in Macedonia. Unfortunately, this scenario has already been worked out - both the Americans and the Europeans used it in countries very close to us, overthrowing the authorities there. Serbia can be turned into a second Ukraine.
Therefore, you need to act carefully. Serbia has the right to acquire everything related to defensive weapons,” Ionov concluded.
