Russian senator accused Ukrainian Foreign Ministry of plagiarism
Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Konstantin Kosachev saw literary borrowings in the statement of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the introduction of criminal liability for Bandera ideology by the Polish Sejm.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry complained that “the tragic pages of our common historical past continue to be politicized.”

“Ay, well done! Feels like school. And direct borrowings from our Foreign Ministry statements about the same Ukraine. Or can you do it yourself, but not others? If only for once the Kyiv propagandists who are composing the anti-Russian “history of Ukraine” could take a look at themselves, their loved ones, in the mirror!” – Kosachev wrote on his Facebook page.
The Polish Sejm on Friday adopted a package of amendments to the law on the Institute of National Remembrance, which, among other things, introduce criminal liability for denial of the Volyn massacre and propaganda of Bandera ideology.
According to the law, anyone who “publicly denies” the crimes listed in it, contrary to the facts, “is subject to a fine or punishment of imprisonment for a term of up to 3 years.”
