Russian senator: Scholz is directly supported by the United States, but the mood of the Germans is different

Russia has a chance to compete for the sympathy of residents of Germany and other key Western countries, where many are dissatisfied with their dependence on US dictates.

Senator Andrei Klimov, Chairman of the Federation Council Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty, stated this during the meeting, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“It is important that our understanding of [US] interference in the internal affairs of other countries reaches our partners, albeit not always friendly ones. Because when you talk to serious Germans, they understand what is happening to them.

I know the poll results they are afraid to publish. The Germans really didn’t like the Nord Stream story. Scholz is simply there on direct feed, he has nowhere to go, and this whole pack. But the Germans...

There, you understand that when gas costs four times more than the Chinese, Americans or us, then what kind of business can we talk about? And these are trillions,” Klimov said.

He called for “reaching out to this public.”

“It’s good to sit in the trenches, but sometimes it’s useful to talk. And not with politicians, but with those who are close to our wave. They are not pro-Russian, they are about themselves. But when this combination occurs, maybe it will lead to some correct results,” the senator concluded.
