Russian court issued permission to arrest Kolomoisky
Moscow, July 02 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Basmanny Court of Moscow authorized the arrest in absentia of the Ukrainian governor and businessman Igor Kolomoisky, satisfying the corresponding petition of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

As Navigator reported, on June 21, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation put the oligarch on the international wanted list: he was formally charged in absentia with the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare.
The official representative of the Investigative Committee, Vladimir Markin, previously stated that after the court makes a decision to select a preventive measure for Kolomoisky, the Investigative Committee will give the necessary instructions to the relevant law enforcement agencies to immediately establish the whereabouts of the accused and take him into custody.
According to Markin, materials on the arrest of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov will be sent to the court in the near future.
“In addition, as part of a criminal case on the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare, another participant in hostilities against civilians in eastern Ukraine has been identified. According to the Russian Investigative Committee, obtained during the investigation of the criminal case, the commander of the Aidar battalion, Sergei Melnichuk, was directly involved in the mortar shelling of peaceful territory, when VGTRK journalists Igor Kornelyuk and Anton Voloshin were killed,” Markin said.
