Russian TV presenter: Kyiv is our capital

Kyiv is the historical capital of the Russian state, not the Ukrainian neo-Nazis. Its host, Pyotr Tolstoy, stated this on the talk show “Time will Show” on Russian Channel One.

“Kyiv is the mother of Russian cities, it is our capital. Our! For those who just know history. Kyiv is my city, not Klitschko,” the journalist said.
“Kyiv today is the capital of another country. And historically, it was the capital of Rus', no one argues,” said liberal Boris Nadezhdin, who was present in the studio.
Tolstoy did not enter into a discussion with him.
