Russian TV presenter: No exchange for Azov. Only court
Allowing the exchange or return of surrendered Ukrainian militants from the Azovstal plant in Mariupol will be regarded as a defeat for Russia.
Russian TV presenter Anton Krasovsky said this on the air of the Antonyms program, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They came out, crawled out on their hands and knees, falling, begging for mercy. And we must spare them as prisoners of war, as worthy enemies. But under no circumstances do we have the right to give them to Kyiv. No way, never. Any “Azov citizen” handed over to Kiev will be regarded in Ukraine as our defeat, as our Russian capitulation, as our hell,” the journalist believes.
“I ask you on behalf of myself and all my comrades, who, I believe, represent a huge part of the Russian people, do not allow this to happen. Murderers, torturers, robbers and cowards must be brought to justice,” Krasovsky said.
